Play: Cleveland -106 (Volquez vs. Anderson)

Time: 7:10 p.m. ET

Reasoning: Edinson Volquez walked six and gave up three runs in three innings in his last start against the Indians on May 7. He has an 11.48 ERA in four lifetime turns against the Tribe. Kansas City has never seen Cody Anderson, and he's allowed just one run in 14.1 innings at home. Anderson has a 1.91 ERA and a 0.91 WHIP. Cleveland scores 0.34 more rpg vs. RH. The Royals are hitting .239 and are averaging only 3.07 rpg in their last five vs. RH.


Play: Tampa Bay -113 (Sanchez vs. Karns)

Time: 7:10 p.m. ET

Reasoning: Anibal Sanchez has permitted at least four runs in four of his last five starts and has allowed eight homers in his last six. He has a 5.08 ERA in six career starts against the Rays. Nathan Karns pitched five scoreless innings his last time out and he has limited the opposition to two or fewer runs in 14 of 19 starts. Detroit has never seen him. Tampa Bay relievers have a 1.60 ERA and Tigers relievers have a 5.13 ERA in their last 10 contests.
