Reasoning: The Twins would be 50-27 if they were given 1.5 rpg. Cincinnati would be 25-51 if it gave 1.5 rpg. The Reds, who have lost four of their last five, are tied with San Diego for the second-worst interleague record (4-9) in baseball. Cincinnati is 125-163 all-time in interleague play. This season the AL is 90-73 vs. the NL. On Tuesday Minnesota prevailed 8-5 when it pounded out 15 hits. The Twins will send out Trevor May in this one, and he has allowed three or fewer runs in six of his last eight starts. Plus, the Reds have never seen him. Cincinnati is scoring 0.70 fewer rpg vs. RH. Minnesota is hitting 34 points higher in its last 10 vs. RH, and it has averaged 6.23 rpg in its last five vs. RH.
