Play: Detroit -103 (McHugh vs. Simon)

Reasoning: The Tigers have won 10 of their last 12 at home vs. Houston. Alfredo Simon has a 3.04 ERA overall and a 2.89 ERA in his last three starts. He is 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA in four career appearances vs. the Astros. Detroit relievers have a 1.85 ERA in their last 10. Collin McHugh has a 5.21 ERA in his last three turns.



Play: Cleveland -154 (Leake vs. Carrasco)

Time: 7:10 p.m. ET

Reasoning: The Reds have lost five straight and they allowed 40 runs in those games. They also were outscored 10-1 in their last two and have dropped 10 of their last 11 at Cleveland. The Indians have won three consecutive contests and allowed the White Sox just eight runs in four games in their last series. Cleveland is 10-9 this month and has won its last two series. Cincinnati will send Mike Leake to the hill for this one and he gave up a career-high nine runs his last time out. He also allowed three homers and has given up nine long balls over his last seven starts. The Reds are hitting .229 and are scoring 1.51 less rpg vs. RH. Indians relievers have a 3.53 ERA and Cincinnati's bullpen has a 5.17 ERA.
