MLB: Sunday's 2:10 p.m. ET games

Play: Kansas City +1.5 -130 (Verlander vs. Chen)

Time: 2:10 p.m. ET

Reasoning: The Royals would be 65-28 if they were given 1.5 runs per game. The Tigers would be 37-53 if they gave 1.5 rpg. Detroit scores 0.30 less rpg vs. LH. Kansas City scores nearly one more rpg vs. RH. Royals relievers are more than a half-run better than their Detroit counterparts. The Tigers also have learned that they will be without their top hitter, Victor Martinez, who leads the team with 21 homers and a .328 average, until Friday. Kansas City's Eric Hosmer brings a 12-game hitting streak into this one, and Billy Butler has positively worn out Justin Verlander. Butler is 33-for-76 (.434) lifetime against Verlander, who has a 4.84 ERA and a 1.48 WHIP.

Play: Milwaukee -112 (action vs. Peralta)

Time: 2:10 p.m. ET

Reasoning: I like the Brewers to snap out of their funk against Carlos Martinez, who has a 1.36 WHIP in 2014 and a 1.63 WHIP in his last three outings. Milwaukee hits 24 points higher and averages 4.32 runs per game vs. RH. The Cardinals average fewer rpg (3.77) when facing RH. Wily Peralta beat St. Louis in his last start against the Redbirds (April 16), holding them to one run over 6.1 IP. Bullpen-wise these teams are on par with one another.

Record: 138-107-6 (56.3%)
Bankroll: +62.81%
